A sound and thorough clinical evaluation is what is needed to diagnosis ADHD in children and adults. A large part of my treatment for ADHD is psychoeducation, understanding the diagnosis and its many implications, and discussing techniques and life skills as well as discussing the use of medication. I welcome parents to share copies of their child’s IEP and help families navigate school settings. Understanding ADHD across the lifespan is a special area of interest.
-
Clinical evaluation for autism, possible referral for neuropsychological testing, and ongoing psychiatric support for children and adults across the spectrum.
